What Kalios is
A plain description of the app: what it does, what it costs, and what it deliberately does not do. If you are deciding whether Kalios fits the way you train, this is the short answer.
What it is
- A gym workout planner and training log for people who lift — barbell, dumbbell, machine and bodyweight work.
- The plan is not a fixed program. Every session you log feeds the next week: loads follow your real numbers, and exercises you flag get swapped.
- A Coach Journal keeps a week-by-week record of what happened, what your coach learned, what changed in your plan, and why.
- An exercise library of around 1,400 movements, each with guidance and ranked alternatives.
- Progress tracking for body measurements, per-exercise history and personal records.
- Crews — shared workouts and challenges with friends.
Who it is for
- Intermediate and advanced lifters who want periodised, progressive-overload programming without writing it themselves.
- Beginners who would rather the app decided the session for them.
- Athletes working with a coach, following their coach's plan and using the assistant between check-ins.
What it is not
- Not a calorie-counting or weight-loss app.
- Not a video class or follow-along workout app.
- Not a wearable or activity tracker — though it can read workout data from Apple Health and Google Health Connect.
What it costs
- Free to download on the App Store and Google Play.
- Your first week is free and needs no payment details. Kalios grants it directly, which is why it does not appear as a store trial on the product page.
- After that, Kalios Pro is $14.99 a month or $79.99 a year in the United States.
- Prices are set per country and vary a lot — the stores decide, and the app shows your local price before you pay.
- Billing runs through the App Store or Google Play, and you cancel it there.
Where it runs
- iOS 16.0 and later, and Android 10 and later.
- Available in English, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil).
